You’ll troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues, coordinate vendor services, and maintain inventory while upholding safety standards and delivering excellent customer service. This hands-on role requires a proactive mindset, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to CBRE’s RISE values. **What You'll Do:** + Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other building systems. + Conduct daily facility walks to proactively identify issues and perform routine repairs, including furniture assembly and fixture maintenance. + Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to doors, locks, and access systems; locksmith experience is highly valued. + Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and building codes. + Coordinate and escort vendors for scheduled preventive maintenance services, ensuring adherence to site protocols. + Monitor and restock daily supplies such as bottled water, paper goods, and cleaning materials; maintain organized inventory storage. + Diagnose potential problems during routine inspections and make timely repairs using standard procedures. + Support energy management by ensuring all building systems operate efficiently and sustainably. + Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding with team members and vendors. + Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values. + Work within standardized practices to meet deadlines and achieve objectives. **What You'll Need:** + High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2–3 years of job-related experience. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered. + Proven background in general maintenance, preferably in commercial or high-rise residential environments. + Basic plumbing and mechanical repair skills; ability to address minor issues such as clogged toilets, leaking fixtures, and faucet replacements. + Ability to meet physical requirements including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting/carrying loads of 50 lbs. or more. + Familiarity with building systems, safety protocols, and standard maintenance procedures. + Strong organizational skills with a proactive, inquisitive mindset. + Comfortable using work order systems, Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook), and email for documentation and communication. + Reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently with a professional demeanor and strong customer service skills. The minimum salary for the position is or $30.00 per hour and the maximum salary for the position is $37.50 per hour.
