**About the Role**
Join our team as a Sr. Maintenance Technician in Boydton, VA with CBRE Group, where you will play a pivotal role in maintaining medium to large-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment. This position is part of our Engineering and Technical Services function, where we support, prevent, and repair critical systems with world-class precision.
**What You’ll Do**
+ Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repair on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
+ Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
+ Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
+ Assign work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs.
+ Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
+ Inspect new installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
+ Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
+ Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
**What You’ll Need**
+ High School Diploma or equivalent experience, GED or equivalent experience, or trade school diploma or equivalent experience with 2-3 years of job-related experience. In place of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be taken into account.
+ Fulfill the physical demands of this position such as bending, standing, walking, climbing stairs, and lifting heavy items over 50 lbs.
+ Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
+ Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
+ In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
+ Strong organizational skills with a curious approach.
