Job Summary:
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Specialist Robots is responsible for a variety of responsibilities including conducting planned maintenance activities, tracking freezer downtime, conducting startup/shut down procedures, programming robots and all interfaces, and ensuring robot activities are performed according to procedure while observing all safety regulations and ensuring GMP and quality standards are met to maintain the efficient flow of production. You will be onsite located at the Conagra manufacturing facility. Starting pay up to $24.74 per hour and Attendance Bonus! ($0.50 for first shift, $0.60 for second shift, and $0.70 for third shift)
You will:
Complete and participate in Planned Maintenance and Drumbeat activitiesTrack and record all downtime, damages and reasons for RobotsPerform shut down/startup proceduresProgram VRT drives following proper procedureVisually inspect equipment to ensure it is operating according to standards making adjustmentsComplete centerline inspections to identify defectsGrease seals and bearings, clean, inspect, and replace beltsAssist mechanics with minor repairs, replacements, and modifications to equipmentAssist mechanics with Planned MaintenanceTeardown equipment for changeover/sanitationComplete daily paperworkKeep work area free from debris to maintain a safe and efficient production processParticipate in production line drumbeatsResponsible for robot interfaces including mechanical, electrical, and electronicParticipate in driving improvements and 5s activitiesParticipate in center-lining of robots and changeover proceduresOperate robot controls and load pallets in dispenser with a forkliftEnsure photo eyes and lasers are not blocked and make adjustmentsModify programming menus (e.g., UL numbers, case numbers, dispensers)Clear jams and restart robotsPerform robot cell startup proceduresTroubleshoot and resolve freezer, robot and shrink wrapper issuesYou Have:
Knowledge of Plant safety, GMP's, confined spacesKnowledge of Safety Data SheetsBe LOTO/PIT certifiedKnowledge of freezing systemsQualifications:
Education: High school diploma or GED required.
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of maintenance or related experience required.
