We work very hard to ensure this is a great place to work! **Job Summary:** BAE Systems is looking for a well-qualified Facilities Project Manager to join our ISC Business Operations team. This person will oversee the maintenance, upkeep, and functionality of our local buildings and facilities, ensuring a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for our employees that meets all Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) standards. Offer pending contract funding approval. **Key Responsibilities:** + Manage and maintain the building's infrastructure, including HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing, and structural components, to ensure a safe and efficient working environment. + Oversee routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance programs to ensure the facility is in good working order and minimize downtime. + Ensure the facilities meet all safety and security standards, including emergency preparedness and implementing safety procedures to protect our employees and assets. + Oversee space allocation, layout, and utilization within the facilities to optimize efficiency and productivity. + Implement initiatives to improve energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact, aligning with our company's sustainability goals. + Effectively communicate updates and status in an ongoing manner. + Maintain accurate records of maintenance, contracts, and other facility-related information to ensure compliance and inform future decision-making. + Contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the business unit's service to its customers by offering suggestions and directing or participating as an active member of a work team. + Manage third-party contractors for services like cleaning, landscaping, and specialized repairs to maintain the facilities' appearance and functionality. + Provide backup support for the Facilities Manager as needed. + Perform other duties as assigned.\#ASFS **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** + High school diploma. + 10 years of related experience in facilities management or a similar field. + Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written). + Experience with capital projects is a plus. + Active secret clearance or ability to obtain. **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** What We Offer: + Competitive salary and benefits package. + Opportunity to work on a wide range of facilities projects. + Collaborative and dynamic work environment. + Professional development and growth opportunities. + Recognition and reward programs for outstanding performance. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
