ROLE:  Support the lines in your work group. Work with Value Stream Manager, Asset care manager, TSM, Work Group Leaders, Process Technicians, Maintenance Technicians, Line Technicians, Set-up Technicians, etc. to improve over-all line reliability and case attainment.

 

Pay: Starting at $31.37/HR, based on experience

 

Night Shift 5:15PM - 5:30AM with 3 paid breaks.

 

Schedule:

Week 1: Monday(work), Tuesday (work), Wednesday (OFF), Thursday (OFF), Weekend (work)

Week 2: Monday (OFF), Tuesday (OFF), Wednesday (work), Thursday (work), Weekend (OFF) 

Week 3: Monday(work), Tuesday (work), Wednesday (OFF), Thursday (OFF), Weekend (work)

Week 4: Monday (OFF), Tuesday (OFF), Wednesday (work), Thursday (work), Weekend (OFF) and so on

Responsibilities

KEY JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Diagnose faulty production and related plant equipment with the minimum amount of supervision using the provided schematics, manuals, and drawings. Be able to diagnose and repair electro-mechanical problems, troubleshoot electrical problems and have a strong understanding of preventative maintenance strategies and be able to train others in doing these responsibilities.Be able to complete a set up and process the line in from scratch after a change over.Understand the functions of a lip roller and bagger so new products can run through this equipment, this will involve running trials, processing product in if the product does not satisfy the auxiliary equipment demands.Conduct R&D trials on the shop floor and in the Tech centerIdentify faulty parts and provide proper nomenclature in the form of a requisition in order that spares or replacements can be orderedBe knowledgeable of what and where spare parts are in the stores room and to observe stores room withdrawal and return procedureGeneral working knowledge of machine shop equipmentMust be team-oriented with leadership qualities and capable of leading co-workers in assigned tasks.Will be expected to maintain necessary records and established maintenance procedures.Understand and operate the sap and RTC programs within PactivMaintain a clean, safe working environmentResponsible for additional specific duties related to each shift as assigned by maintenance Team LeaderWork, train and have open communication with all members of your work group teamWalk story boards though out work group and develop action plans for resolution to repeatable failuresWork with other members of the workgroup on action items, which will improve line efficiency, by taking the lead on the line improvements, design of experiments and projects24/7 On-call phone support for assistance/reporting to/by teamOther duties as necessary

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:

Administrative: Demonstrates ability to accurately post data from one source to another in ERP or peripheral software systems. Including but not limited to SAP, Outlook, Excel, Microsoft, etc.

 Operate Equipment:

Ability to operate motorized equipment and other peripheral equipment safely and efficiently as requiredDemonstrates ability to utilize standard hand toolsAbility to operate basic machine shop equipment

 Maintenance/Repair:

Demonstrates advanced mechanical aptitude and abilitiesDemonstrates thorough knowledge of production technological methods and procedures, and capabilities of machines and equipment in manufacturing facilities Qualifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Three to five years of experience in a related fieldHigh school graduate requiredCompletion of a vocational or trade school curriculum from an authorized school with a concentration in electro-mechanical courses desiredMust be able to read and use precision type instruments such as micrometers and calipersSpeaking and presentation skills to conduct effective meetings

Work an 8 – 10-hour shift, standing and walking for extended periodsClimb Heed safety warnings, devices, and alarmsCommunicate effectively both verbally and in writingLift and carry products weighing up to 50 lbs.
