LabCorp is seeking a Maintenance Specialist to join our team. This position will be responsible for overseeing maintenance and repair on various facilities systems.
**Pay Range: $18.10-$39.55
Location: 150 W Spring Lake Dr Itasca, IL
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm with availability to work overtime as needed. Also availability to occasionally work earlier/later/on-call as needed, including after hours and on weekends.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for scheduled and unscheduled minor maintenance and repairs on various facilities systems including, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systemsWill oversee contractors for repairs not deemed minorPerform maintenance and repair on furniture systems, small equipment, lighting, plumbing fixtures, minor painting, furniture moves, clean-ups, and thermal comfort callsAssist with grounds keeping as needed -- shoveling snow, spreading salt, additional minor grounds keeping, etc.Support the labs and PSCs in construction and reconfiguration projectsCommunicate effectively with the lab team to discuss the status of their maintenance needsDocument all work performed in an accurate and timely mannerRequirements:
High school diploma or equivalent is requiredAssociates degree in HVAC, Facilities, or a technical discipline is highly preferred1+ year previous experience in building and facilities maintenance is requiredPrevious experience with drywall repair, painting, light electrical work, tile installation/replacement and other general construction experience is preferredHVAC Certification preferred or prior experience in this tradeStrong working knowledge of various hand and powers toolsPrior experience with a Building Automation System is a plusAbility to read and use operation and service manualsMicrosoft Office Suite and strong computer skillsStrong communication, prioritization and time management skillsHigh level of attention to detail with the ability to multi taskMust have a Valid Driver's License and clean driving recordMust be at least 21 years' oldLabcorp is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer:
