Maintenance Senior Engineering Specialist - Electrical
Join our dynamic team as a Maintenance Senior Engineering Specialist Electrical, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the technical integrity and availability of critical equipment in the liquefied natural gas (LNG) industry. This is an exciting opportunity to work in Milan, Italy, and contribute to the efficient maintenance operations of a leading organization in the energy sector.
Role Overview Lead the Electrical Engineering Specialist Team to ensure safety and technical integrity. Review and adjust preventive electrical maintenance plans periodically. Supervise scheduling of all electrical work requests to ensure coherence. Coordinate preparation and updating of monthly reports on key performance indicators. Provide technical expertise for electrical maintenance operations to achieve cost-effective solutions. Regularly review documentation, procedures, and safety manuals, ensuring proper archiving. Produce and validate new maintenance procedures in line with company policies. Ensure quality control during maintenance activities and provide guidance for technical problem-solving. Conduct root cause analysis of failures to improve reliability and reduce technical failures. Manage spare parts availability and periodic stock reviews for maintenance works. Coordinate contract site electrical activities, ensuring compliance with deliverables and safety standards. Supervise vendors for specialist control systems and instrumentation services. Initiate and implement electrical modification proposals through the Management of Change system. Participate in employee development and training needs identification within the department. Skills & Qualifications Excellent knowledge of electrical equipment, systems integration, and methods. Strong understanding of international electrical safety systems standards (including ATEX / IECEx). Familiarity with international codes & standards (IEC, IEEE, ANSI, API, EN, NEMA MG1 &2, ISO related to electrical machinery and environment). Good knowledge of maintenance SAP (like CMMS). Proficient in computer applications and methods. Excellent command of written and spoken English. Education & Experience Qualifications: Bachelor of higher education in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent with international standard. Experience: Minimum 20 years specific maintenance experience in oil, gas, or petrochemical industry; at least 10 years in LNG producing plants.
