About the role
As the Maintenance Security Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the hotel operates safely, efficiently, and in line with Hyatt standards. Reporting to the General Manager, you will oversee all maintenance and security operations, ensuring the building, equipment, and systems are maintained in optimal condition while coordinating contractors.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic hotel environment and takes pride in delivering safe, reliable, and well-maintained facilities.
Key responsibilities include:
Overseeing the day-to-day maintenance operations of the hotel, including repairs, preventative maintenance, and guest requests
Developing and managing a comprehensive Preventative Maintenance Program (PPM) for plant, equipment, and guest rooms
Preparing and coordinating daily work schedules for maintenance activities
Ensuring all maintenance requests are completed efficiently, with priority given to guest-related issues
Supervising contractors and external service providers to ensure quality, compliance, and safety standards
Managing the hotel’s security operations, including CCTV, alarm systems, and access controls
Conducting regular security patrols, checks, and incident investigations
Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, fire, and statutory requirements
Monitoring energy usage and implementing energy conservation initiatives
Managing departmental budgets, cost control, and procurement of materials
Maintaining accurate maintenance records, reports, and documentation
