Maintenance & Safety Supervisor
**In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:** + Planning, management and control of corrective and preventive maintenance of equipment and machinery. + Elaboration of operational and capital budgets for the department. + Provide special support to engineering plant projects required by the company. + Ensure availability of materials, tools and services for the execution of corrective and preventive maintenance + Determine, recommend and supervise the proper use of industrial safety equipment to employees and contractors + Be sure that all machinery and plant equipment are in proper operating condition and that they have safety devices to ensure the safety of the personnel + Optimize resources for preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment and avoid wasting tools, equipment and spare parts + Ensure use of lockout and tagout procedures (LOTO) on machinery and equipment + Keep in good condition the safety devices of the equipment under their responsibility and verify that all safety devices are in operation before giving as completed repair + Register in tool crib critical spare parts of new equipment and dismiss them of the assets of the company + Constantlyanalyze reportsofcorrective maintenanceactionsto eliminate equipment failures. + Make a quality and safety evaluation of the supplier on a complete work assigned. + Frequently check the progress of the work assigned to the contractor and if he/she is unavailable must assign a technician until this activity is completed. + Complies with all the safety policies, reports immediately any situation of risk and participates actively in actions to improve safety in its area of control. **For This Role, You Will Need:** + Degree in electromechanical, electrical or electronic engineering. **Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:** + 5 years in direct supervision of maintenance services + 5 years developing preventive maintenance programs. + Five years of experience in manufacturing equipment maintenance. + Theoretical and practical training in critical disciplines for the department’s operation. + Proficiency in Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLCs. + Experience in assembly, welding, NDT, and torque systems. **Our Culture & Commitment to You:** At Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
