Job Description

Are you a Maintenance Reliability Engineer, keen to start or continue your career within the mining sector? Join Macraes, New Zealand's largest gold mine, and become an integral team member within our Process Plant Maintenance team.

Reporting into the Asset Management Superintendent, and working as part of the Asset Management and Planning team, this role will work to define and own the asset strategies and tactics, measure, analyse, and continually improve performance and condition of assets across the Process Plant at Macraes

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

Assist with optimising the operational and maintenance strategies, tactics, and budgets for all assetsDeliver new or modified assets in line with strategic and asset lifecycle plansEnsure delivery of spares and materials in fill on-time every timeEnsure operational teams identify and manage the operating factors impacting on asset reliabilityMeasure and evaluate operating performance and variances, condition and integrity of all critical assets and identifying and prioritise defectsManage maintenance-related activities on all assets effectively and efficiently with emphasis on maintenance execution quality including KPIs and reportingAssist with planning and delivering shutdowns and overhauls to required quality to restore / sustain asset reliability, within approved budgets and schedulesDecommissioning and disposing of redundant assets and obsolete materials

QualificationsTertiary Qualification in Engineering (Mech/Elec) highly regarded but not essential / or significant equivalent industry experienceAdvanced industrial processing plant experience

Experience:

Proven experience within a maintenance reliability role or equivalent, meeting deliverables within set timeframesStructured Maintenance Strategy Development (RCM/FMEA/PMO) experienceAdvanced skills across root cause analysis, Microsoft excel, CMMS. data analysis and technical report writing
