Maintenance Planner/Scheduler - JLL

The Maintenance Planner/Scheduler role is in support of the JLL Asset Management journey towards a World Class Maintenance organization. This industry standard role provides more efficient means of managing facilities maintenance and associated maintenance labor, freeing hours for additional business priorities. Planning & scheduling for all maintenance and operations encompassed in the CMMS tool are to be conducted using current CMMS system application and standardized business processes.
 

What this job involves

This role requires serving as a subject matter expert in facilities planning & scheduling while supporting JLL's transformation to a world-class maintenance organization. You'll be responsible for optimizing maintenance operations through strategic planning, scheduling, and coordination of all maintenance activities using CMMS systems and standardized business processes. The position involves managing multiple maintenance activities simultaneously while collaborating with diverse teams including subcontractors, technicians, and management to ensure successful outcomes and database integrity.
 

What your day-to-day will look likePlan, schedule, coordinate and assign all frequency and work type maintenance activities for your assigned group or teamFacilitate and attend team passdown or operations meetings to communicate daily/weekly maintenance activity plans and schedulesIdentify open, unscheduled and/or unassigned work by running prescribed work order queries in Assignment ManagerCollaborate with subcontractor counterparts to ensure successful outcomes for subcontractor responsibilitiesOptimize maintenance inventory by balancing workload to labor availabilityManage asset maintenance parts ordering process (MRO) for assigned teams and optimize efforts through PM auto ordering where applicableCreate all asset-related purchase requisitions and arrange for special tools and equipmentTrack all asset information, including spare parts, documentation, and booked laborMaintain liaison with facilities technicians and other management regarding work execution, schedule alterations, and manpower statusCollect data and collaborate with operations team to optimize maintenance programsMaintain maintenance record compliance through periodic data auditingProvide weekly reports to facility managers, identify risks and gaps, and provide resolution plansSubmit and document database record changes using client CMMS change request systemProvide cross-site coverage and mentor junior employees
 Required QualificationsIn-depth/subject matter expert level knowledge of facilities planning & schedulingStrong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple maintenance activities simultaneouslyExcellent oral and written communication skills with ability to interface with all levels of management and diverse customer baseSolid personal computer skills including Microsoft Office ProductsUnderstanding of CMMS systems and ability to comply with client CMMS standards and specificationsKnowledge of maintenance inventory management and MRO processesCommitment to safety for yourself and othersLeadership and interpersonal skills for managing multi-discipline team environmentsPreferred QualificationsLeadership experience including training, presentations, and teambuilding • Project management experienceAbility to create CMMS ad hoc reports and submit work requests for complex data reportsAdvanced query writing and dashboard creation capabilitiesExperience with continuous improvement processes and maintenance metrics analysisBackground in asset management and maintenance optimizationExperience mentoring and developing junior staff

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 7a-330p
Compensation: $29-31/hr. - Depending on Experience
