Maintenance Planner
**Job Description** We're seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner Specialist Sr. to join our team at BAE Systems in York, PA. The maintenance planner is responsible for work order management via the CMMS system, developing detailed maintenance job plans, identifying tools, resources and materials required for all planned maintenance activities and ensuring safety protocols are incorporated into all plans. The position is instrumental in optimizing equipment reliability, maximizing uptime, and contributing to overall plant safety and productivity through diligent planning and execution. **Responsibilities:** + Plan and schedule maintenance activities, including labor requirements, layouts, bill of materials, and tools required + Develop detailed job plans for preventive maintenance activities, ensure safety procedures, labor requirements, materials, tools, work procedures and all necessary information to successfully perform maintenance work is encompassed. + Review job plans periodically to ensure validity and accuracy + Process, review, investigate and process maintenance work orders from initiation to a Ready to Schedule or Awaiting Materials status, utilizing the CMMS system. + Facilitates routine backlog review and planning prioritization meetings with stakeholders in Maintenance and Operations, and Engineering departments utilizing excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills. + Produce full-scope work packets with detailed planning to prevent work errors + Identify and secure parts, special tools, and materials required for work orders + Initiate and enhance communication with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams + Continuously improving maintenance planning processes and developing the organization + Review planned work requests for accuracy and clarity, and set priorities + Partner with Facilities Engineering for in-house projects (capital or expense) to include review statement of work, determine material needs and submitting necessary procurement documents to order material + Review project plan to ensure labor estimates are accurate and include all required trades + Coordinate with affected departments to communicate machine or building outages in relation to in-house project work + Support root cause analysis on key machine failures and improves up time on critical equipment + Maintain and improve CMMS, equipment history database, and maintenance documentation + Able to be a self-starter and complete tasks with little guidance or supervision **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** + Associate or bachelor s degree in electrical, mechanical, or related technical field (preferred) + 3-5 years of experience in maintenance planning or similar role, preferably in an industrial manufacturing environment + Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) or similar software (Knowledge of Oracle and eAM is a plus.) + Strong understanding of electrical or mechanical systems and principles + Excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills + Ability to read schematics, drawings, and technical documents + Detail-oriented and analytical, with a focus on safety and continuous improvement **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** + Electrical or mechanical trade certification or experience + Experience with industrial manufacturing, control systems, or similar technologies + Familiarity with NFPA and NEC electrical codes and standards + _Certification in maintenance planning, such as CMRP (Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional) or similar_ **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $75254 - $127930 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
