You will have the opportunity to work and partner with a tenured and knowledgeable team as you begin your career with a proven leader in the cement and construction materials industry. **What You'll Get to Do** + Plan and optimize maintenance activities for fixed plant equipment, including shutdown strategies and long-term planning. + Analyze maintenance data (reports, work orders, history) to improve scheduling, procedures, and resource allocation. + Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors to ensure safe and efficient execution of maintenance tasks. + Manage parts procurement and CMMS usage to support transparent and effective maintenance planning. + Support budgeting, equipment upgrades, and continuous improvement while maintaining compliance with safety and workplace policies. **What We Are Looking For:** + Technical Background: Journeyperson Trade Certificate or Technical Diploma preferred; engineering experience (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or Process) is an asset. + Industrial Maintenance Expertise: Strong knowledge of heavy industry operations, safety, and maintenance planning, with hands-on craft skills (Millwright, Welding, Electrical). + Project & System Proficiency: Skilled in project planning (Gantt charts), CMMS usage, and managing multiple projects with effective documentation and record keeping. + Diagnostic & Analytical Skills: Experience with condition-based monitoring (oil/vibration analysis), interpreting OEM manuals, and sourcing parts from various vendors. + Communication & Leadership: Strong verbal/written communication skills with the ability to train, mentor, and collaborate effectively across teams **Work Environment:** + Role operates in an office and manufacturing environment with moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, humidity, elevated noise levels, and dusty conditions.
