Communicating Honestly, Transparently, and Acting with Integrity Exhibiting a Results-Driven approach Delivering solutions that are Fit for Purpose Dedicating themselves to Building a Sustainable Legacy Taking Responsibility and being Accountable Committing to Zero Harm Cultivating strong and meaningful PartnershipsReporting to the Maintenance Planning Coordinator, you will be responsible for detailed work planning and integrated work scheduling of planned maintenance activities such that resources, equipment downtime and cost is optimized.
Your duties will include but are not limited to the following:
Ensure work orders are sufficiently planned with all resources, materials, tool lists, drawings etc. Manage the work order backlog system such that work is planned and scheduled based upon priority and is undertaken prior to equipment failure. Develop detailed scopes of work for future planned work schedules (weekly, shutdowns, annual plans) that improves resource effectiveness. Develop integrated maintenance schedules of work that optimizes equipment downtime and resource utilization. Develop cost and material forecasts for planned work in CMMS and Budget System. Ensure work orders accurately reflect the specific actions necessary to complete the task effectively. Check all purchase order invoices against purchase order and ensure approval is done. Ensure work order materials are delivered, stored and distributed to end users in sufficient time to complete the work. Participate in and facilitate Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) audits and analysis. Preparation of weekly and monthly Maintenance Planning Reports. Raising Reservations and Purchase Requisitions for parts requested by the Execution Teams.To be considered for the position, you must meet the following requirements:
Grade Twelve (12) School Certificate Minimum of a Craft Certificate preferably in mechanical or electrical engineering. Minimum two (2) years’ experience in Maintenance Planning. Computer literate with good record keeping skills Conversant with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (SAP) Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Power point and Project.
