Job DescriptionOaks Queenstown Shores Resort is currently looking for a proactive and reliable Maintenance Officer to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is essential in ensuring our property remains well-presented, safe, and welcoming for both guests and staff.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys creating a safe, well-maintained environment for guests and colleagues alike. As part of our team, you’ll be the go-to person for repairs and maintenance, working across guest rooms, public areas, and behind the scenes to make sure everything operates at its best. Every day will bring variety; from preventative checks and scheduled maintenance to tackling unexpected issues quickly and effectively.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Undertake general property repairs and maintenance as required.Assist in the execution of the preventative maintenance program to ensure optimal property performance.Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas.Provide induction and supervision of external contractors as required.Maintain accurate daily work records and service schedules.Support the Maintenance Manager in managing contractor works and maintenance projects.Shift Details (subject to change)
