Job Description

The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for assisting in engineering tasks, conducting routine equipment inspections and maintenance, diagnosing technical issues under direct guidance, documenting maintenance activities, contributing to process optimization, and prioritizing safety protocols to ensure efficient operations and a secure working environment.

Your role:

Works as an experienced engineering assistant to support 3rd shift manufacturing in troubleshooting and resolving issues within the MES/SAP (Manufacturing Execution System) for production. Escalating to off site support as needed.Diagnosing all mechanical and electrical issues for tools used in subassembly including the Fiber Winder, Split Die Bonder, Hot Air Boxes, Hot Dies, Talc tumblers.Performs routine Preventative Maintenance on all tools in subassembly area.Self starter, self supported working without any assistance. Able to document all work within CMMS (Corrective Maintenance Management Software) ensuring all quality steps are followed.Adheres to safety protocols and guidelines meticulously during the execution of maintenance tasks to ensure a secure working environment and prevent accidents or injuries.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

This is an onsite role in Colorado Springs, CO.

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position in CO is $23.29  to $37.27 plus overtime eligible and 3rd shift pay differential.

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position.  For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Colorado Springs, CO.
