Electrical: Perform electrical troubleshooting, read electrical diagrams and symbols. Able to read and write advanced electrical schematics. Must be able to read P& ID drawings, use handheld voltage meter, oscilloscopes, ammeters, etc.
Welding: Lays out, positions, aligns and fits together fabricated parts of metal according to layouts, work orders, blueprints, schematics and sketches in preparation for welding. Tack-welds pieces together. Applies appropriate welding processes to join, surface, fabricate and repair parts of metal or other weldable materials according to layouts, work orders, blueprints schematics and sketches using manual and/or semi-automatic welding equipment. May lay out and mark weld points on parts or subassemblies. May position pieces to be welded into jigs, holding fixtures, guides and steps using measuring instruments and hand tools. May inspect completed work for conformance to specifications.
Fabrication: Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts. Conduct periodic inspections to determine required maintenance workflow. Design/Build complex parts as needed for plant using all mill wright tools (lathe, index mill, welding, press, bender, etc.).
Heating/Cooling: Advanced air conditioning and heating circuits, trouble shooting and repair chillers and air dryers.
Projects: Must be well rounded maintenance person and must have knowledge and experience in areas of troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic, pneumatics and electrical motion control components.
