MAINTENANCE MECHANIC (WEEKEND PM SHIFT)
We are looking for a Maintenance Mechanic who will report to the Tooling & Maintenance Supervisor, and who’ll be tasked with maintaining our equipment. As part of your role, you’ll be significantly contributing to the organization's operations. You’ll be at the forefront of ensuring our equipment is working efficiently and safely at BRP.

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Work closely with operations and engineering teams to address equipment related action items through repair and maintenance.
Proactively identify potential problems before they turn into breakdowns and address them. Work with production in prioritizing breakdowns.
Efficiently perform lock-out/tag-out procedures.
Maintain accurate documentation; log in work orders into Guide system on a daily basis.
Monitor and maintain 5-S.
Collaborate and maintain communication with other team members and support departments
Use time effectively to complete as much work as possible within the shift while promoting and modeling safe behavior throughout the facility
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent
Three years of maintenance work experience or relevant work experience, or a combination of education and experience
Exceptional mechanical and hydraulic troubleshooting skills; basic electrical and electronic troubleshooting skills.
Database entry competency
Ability to work safely and independently in a machine shop environment and with all required equipment
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated track record of good attendance
Required to work onsite the required weekend pm shift hours: Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays
Preferred:
Hands-on experience with manufacturing/industrial facility equipment
Knowledge of PLC logic/controllers and frequency drives
