**99439BR** **Job Title:** Maintenance Mechanic - Springfield, MO **Department/Function:** Operations: Manufacturing, Production, Maintenance, Utilities **Job Description:** **Production Maintenance Mechanic - Overnights** ADM – Springfield, MO Starts at $24.00 with evaluation after 90 days Monday - Thursday 6pm – 4:30am (overnight 10hr shift) Saturday and Overtime Work will be required **What you will do:** + Perform scheduled maintenance inspections and lubrication on plant equipment + Document inspection and service activity as required + Schedule and prioritize maintenance tasks + Repair and replace equipment as needed + Electrical, Hydraulic, Steam Systems Troubleshooting + Order and inventory parts and equipment as directed + Work with operators to troubleshoot, train, and repair equipment **Job Requirements:** + High School Diploma or equivalent + Technical training/equivalent experience in: Steam systems, compressors, drives, pneumatics, pumps, motors, drags, conveyors, bucket elevators, etc. + Working knowledge of 3 phase 480 volt electrical systems + Ability to perform cutting, welding, and fabrication + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and team lift heavier items. + Ability to handle exposure to variable temperatures as well as noise and dust conditions + Availability to work overtime as needed + Comfortable with basic computer navigation for use with HMIs and Operating systems. + Ability to work at heights, don fall protection, drive a forklift, perform LOTO, etc. after training has been completed. + Respirator (PAPR or N95 mask) required for some tasks **Expectations** : + Be present on the production floor and communicate regularly with operators and management. When time allows, check in with operators to ensure equipment is running as expected and discuss any concerns they have. + Complete assigned work orders and tasks in a timely manner. + Work overtime as required and scheduled. Call-in schedule will be posted monthly and you may be called-in to repair and/or troubleshoot production equipment overnight. + Work and communicate with external contractors on a regular basis. Ensure contractors are following facility and ADM safety rules. Good interpersonal skills required. **Qualifications** The ideal candidate will have worked MANUFACTURING / PRODUCTION maintenance for 2+ years. Preference may be given to those with experience with: milling equipment, drag conveyors, bucket elevators, mixers, screw conveyors, turn-heads, flop valves, etc. **What Hours Would I be Working?** Monday - Thursday 6pm – 4:30am (overnight 10hr shift) Saturday and Overtime Work will be required Call-in schedule for maintenance means that once per month you will be the designated call-in mechanic for any production issues on Friday night for shutdown and Saturday night (if running overtime/weekend work). This will be posted in advance and which weekend is flexible as worked out in advance with Maintenance Lead (can trade weekends, etc). ADM requires the successful completion of a background check.
