Ketjen Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Albemarle Corporation, is seeking a Maintenance Millwright. The position will be based out of the Bayport site located in Pasadena, Texas.
 

Requirement

Experience in safe in-plant maintenance and repair of mechanical equipmentHighly experienced in close tolerances and use of dial indicators, dial calipers, micrometers and other precision measuring equipment achieving measurements down to .0001".Good verbal communication skillsPast history of excellent quality results in daily work activitiesMust be motivated and self-directedMust have the ability to work in a team environmentGood written and electronic communication skillsHigh School Diploma or equivalent5 years of Journeyman Millwright experience.Working knowledge of mechanical and laser alignment systems.Ability to Work straight nights 9/80 scheduleAbility to complete daily equipment documentationAbility to interpret drawings and manuals

Preference

Working knowledge of both pump and conveyor functionsWorking knowledge of hydraulic pumps, motors, reactors and actuatorsWorking knowledge of mechanical and laser alignment systems.Thorough understanding of how bearing condition, alignment, structural support, and piping stress affect equipment MTBFAn understanding of preventative and predictive maintenance proceduresWorking knowledge of the purpose and installation of mechanical sealsWorking knowledge of lubrication best practicesBasic knowledge of mag- drive pumpsBasic knowledge of lathe, milling machine, drill press and other machine shop duties2-Year Technical Degree in Mechanical field or NCCER Millwright CertificationExperience in repair and maintenance of rotary kilns.NCCCO Certified Crane Operator
