**Position Summary:** The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing basic maintenance and repairs to ensure that the grounds, facility, and equipment are maintained in a safe and efficient manner. This role must adhere to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies and procedures, under the direction of the Supervisor. **Key Responsibilities:** * Operate maintenance equipment safely, including tractors, forklifts, snow blowers, lawn mowers, and pickup trucks. * Assist with basic electrical work such as replacing receptacles, switches, light fixtures, wiring, and motors. * Perform basic plumbing tasks, including the repair or replacement of toilets, sinks, showers, drains, and pipes. * Assist in the maintenance and repair of equipment such as boilers, air conditioning units, heating systems, appliances, and tools. * Demonstrate basic knowledge of carpentry, and general maintenance practices. **Qualifications:** _Required:_ * High school diploma or equivalent. * Valid state driver's license. * Driving record must be within the approved insurance company’s regulations.
