Maintenance Mechanic

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing skilled mechanical maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and systems.

Every day you will troubleshoot, inspect, and maintain a wide range of machinery and building systems, executing preventative maintenance, responding to repair requests, and ensuring safe and efficient operation.

To be successful, you will demonstrate strong technical skills, meticulous attention to detail in diagnostics and repair, and the ability to work independently to minimize downtime and maintain operational continuity.

Corrects and repairs minor plumbing, to include flush valve, drain stoppage, faucet repairs and shower valve repairs.Corrects med gas valve leaks by rebuilding front bodies as required.Corrects and repairs minor electrical problems such as replaces ballasts, receptacle and light switches.Performs all general maintenance assignments as required.Completes inspections according to established procedures completing log sheets, checklists and PM sheets as required.Completes required documentation in reference to mechanical systems as required by federal, state and regulatory agencies.
