Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic Location: Millsboro, Delaware Type: Direct Hire Work Model: Onsite Maintenance Mechanic Essential Job Functions and Duties + Install, assemble, and test new machines and equipment. + Schedule and perform routine preventative maintenance and service for each piece of equipment. + Inspect machines regularly for signs of malfunctions, including visual and sound inspections. + Adhere to all safety requirements, including personal protective equipment (PPE), preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions, and following lockout-tagout procedures and process safety management guidelines. + Perform emergency repairs, requiring the ability to troubleshoot promptly and effectively. Qualifications + High School Diploma/GED, technical or vocational training, or a combination of on-the-job, informal, and formal training. + 7–9 years’ experience as a Maintenance Mechanic, preferably in manufacturing. + Skill sets such as welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, fabrication, etc., with certifications required. + Must demonstrate proven ability in 4–5 of the following technical skill areas: + Maintenance Fundamentals + Electrical Power + Mechanical Concepts + Electrical Controls + Pneumatics + Hydraulics + Analog & Drive Control + PLCs + Welding SMAW + Welding GTAW + Possesses advanced general maintenance skills including welding (Arc/Stick/TIG), math for mechanics, assembly, conveyors, wiring, motors and motor controls, mechanical drives, pneumatics, hydraulics, PLCs, fabrication, and safety.
