Compensation: $25.00 hourly
Contractor Work Model: Onsite
Hours: 8 am to 4:30 pm

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Maintenance Mechanic. The Company’s Maintenance Department is a proactive, team focused on maximizing asset reliability and operational efficiency. Withy the use of a Computerized Maintenance Management System
(CMMS), we are able to track asset performance, streamline work order management, and provide valuable data for continuous improvement. Our success is measured by our ability to support production goals while upholding the highest standards of safety, product quality, and compliance.

Job Duties:  Performs a wide range of maintenance and repair work involving a variety of plastic component making processes that incorporate pipe and profile extrusion, injection molding, hot plate welding, sonic welding, punching, drilling, slitting, lathe turning and mechanical assembly operations. Works with the Company's Engineering Department on new, or updates of existing equipment. Oversees, or performs preventative maintenance of equipment per schedule, or as required. Troubleshoot and repair machinery using schematics associated with industrial electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical problems. Research part requirement needs for repair of equipment. Write Purchase Requisition Requests for approval. Call in parts orders once approved. Understanding of Programmable Logic Controls and Servos.  Performs a regularly scheduled safety check of the production floor and offices. Checks the exterior of the building on a regular basis for debris, maintenance, or safety related issues. Repairs or replaces lights, or lighting fixtures. Contributes to team effort to accomplish results
QUALIFICATIONS: Fifth year college or university program certificate; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Automation Direct, Allen Bradley PLC’s Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Must occasionally lift and/or move lip to 50 pounds. High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Programmable Logic Controllers: 5 years (Preferred)
Maintenance: 5 years (Preferred) CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, OR REGISTRATIONS:
Forklift, PPE, HAZMAT, Lockout / Tagout, Fire Safety and Valid Driver's License.
