Job Description Summary

The Maintenance Mechanic supports operations and maintenance, general interior, and exterior maintenance, hang pictures, patched paint, changes lights.

Job Description:

General interior maintenance – Job will include but not limited to light commercial renovations including painting, tape and bed, texture, door, flooring Install and repair kitchen/bathroom appliances supplies.Hang pictures, install keyboard trays, repair office furniture systems and repair doors.Deliver and set-up folding tables, chairs, signs, banners, and other equipment in support of conference, food services requirements, and special events.Replace interior and exterior lightingPerform preventive maintenance on assigned trucks, utility vehiclesMake minor concrete and asphalt repairsOperate a street sweeper, forklift, boom lift, and battery-operated indoor man lift.Escort and supervise subcontractors performing work on campus.Ice/snow removalInspect Fitness Center equipment.Performance of ongoing preventive and repair response work orders on facility mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other installed systems, equipment, and other components.Provide good Customer ServicePerform assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on as found conditions impacting satisfactory client occupancy and operations ns.Assist the operations team in the maintenance and repair of building and equipment and/or as directedOther tasks as assignedComplete Hazard Assessments as necessaryComply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas. Recognize danger and safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate them.Maintain compliance to State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes, or Laws.
