Maintaining optimum functionality for all plant equipment and systems by performing inspections, completing predictive and preventive maintenance measures (including data entry)Repairing and modifying equipment and systems, inspecting buildings, grounds and equipment utilized by the facility, determining immediate and long range needs for maintenance and repair workEntering work orders utilizing maintenance computer programs, completing, signing and returning work orders to the Maintenance Supervisor complete with: work description, symptoms, as found, as left, start/finish time, labor hours, deficiencies, delays, and job plan feedback (if applicable). Perform work as assigned by their supervisor, identify follow-up work required, work to improve the condition of all facility departments, work as a team member with a positive attitude, help promote and communicate maintenance and reliability to the organization, and perform other duties including housekeeping, attending safety training, and attending communication meetingsRequired Qualifications
Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorshipMust be 18 years or olderMust be able to work in the US without an humanitarian Parole status related to Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua or Venezuela which is subject to the Federal Register Notice of revocation by DHS on March 25, 2025Ability to read, write, and speak EnglishAbility to perform basic math such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and divisionAbility to read and comprehend manuals and SOP'sAbility to manage multiple priorities at once, have strong organizational, troubleshooting, and analytical skillsExperience with the use of and measuring of instruments/precision tools, fasteners, piping/fittings & valves, cutting and welding, packing/sealing/gasket products, air/steam traps, rotating shaft components, filtering media and riggingAbility to work 12 hour shifts and extended shifts, including week-ends, holidays and on-call, the ability work outside in all types of weather, climb ladders and work from heights, and the ability to work in a potentially physically strenuous environment.Preferred Qualifications
AA or 2 year technical degree in Industrial Maintenance MechanicsMinimum 2 years’ experience in Industrial MaintenanceHigh school diploma or GEDDemonstrate computer skills including data entry and data retrievalPlease note that this position does not include relocation reimbursement.
