Job Description
The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for completing all preventive maintenance and breakdown repairs on production equipment such as conveyors, motors, gear boxes, and building HVAC systems, including RTUs, AHUs, EFs, chillers, and boilers. The role requires proficiency in identifying and troubleshooting systems and completing repairs in accordance with required regulations and industry best practices, including component change-outs.
ResponsibilitiesComplete all preventive maintenance and breakdown repairs on production equipment and building HVAC systems.Identify and troubleshoot systems, completing repairs per regulations and industry best practices.Document work and repairs consistent with Good Documentation Practices.Offer suggestions for correcting problems and improving operations.Exercise good judgment in dealing with operational problems.Work independently with minimal supervision.Recommend parts/supply purchases for equipment within manufacturing/lab areas, including spare parts inventory.Complete GM training, meeting deadlines and schedules.Escalate issues to Engineering management when needed.Work in a safe and compliant manner using PPE and observing safety precautions.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsTroubleshootingMaintenance technicianRepairMechanicalElectricalBoilersAdditional Skills & QualificationsAt least 5 years of mechanical experiencePharmaceutical experienceWhy Work Here?

Work Environment
This position is located in a medium-sized pharmaceutical manufacturing facility spanning 450,000 square feet. The work schedule is from 7am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday. The environment emphasizes safe practices, requiring PPE and adherence to safety precautions.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $79040.00/yr.
