**Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic** **1st shift - $30-$35/HR** **Job Description** We have an immediate opening for a full-time Maintenance Mechanic. This role involves performing mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance on industrial equipment to ensure smooth workflow. Flexibility with set hours and days of the week may be possible. The position also includes assisting with the installation of new equipment and general building maintenance. **Responsibilities** + Follow all work instructions and safety policies, using all PPE and safety equipment. + Perform routine preventive maintenance checks on all production equipment and machinery. + Repair basic mechanical components and replace parts on machines such as bearings, filters, wiring, valves, gauges, and switches. + Observe and listen to mechanical devices in operation to locate causes of problems. + Dismantle devices to gain access to and remove defective parts. + Lubricate and clean machinery and support equipment to maintain housekeeping and preventive maintenance standards within the plant. + Complete all work orders to maintain safety, reduce downtime, decrease scrap, improve quality production, and enhance plant efficiency. + Follow all safety rules and procedures, including the Lockout/Tagout program, and ensure a safe work environment. + Perform other related duties as assigned. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic team where your skills in maintenance will be valued and expanded.
