**Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic** **Job Description** We are seeking skilled Maintenance Mechanics for our first shift, 12-hour schedule. The role involves maintaining and repairing production lines, as well as ensuring the overall upkeep of the building. **Responsibilities** + Complete daily jobs and work orders efficiently. + Collaborate with maintenance staff on work practices and procedures. + Perform maintenance and repairs on equipment, including troubleshooting, maintaining, and installing mechanical and electrical systems. + Prepare for tasks by acquiring necessary parts. + Communicate effectively with departments, vendors, subcontractors, and management regarding any issues affecting production efficiency. + Document all repairs and complete necessary paperwork. + Identify and implement process improvement opportunities. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in machine maintenance and preventative maintenance. + Strong troubleshooting and repair skills. + Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems. + Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics. + Ability to read and understand blueprints. + Facility maintenance and carpentry skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred. + Less experience may be considered if the candidate has direct experience in a food/beverage maintenance environment. + Experience with specific equipment is a nice to have. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a rotating shift schedule that includes built-in overtime every other week. Mechanics are divided into two night shifts: Shift A covers Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Saturday; Shift B covers Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and every other Saturday. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Saint Paul, Minnesota. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $71000.00/yr. rotating shift, but has built in OT every other week. They work 36 hours one week, 48 hours another week and so on. With that in mind, if someone is making $33/hr they are actually making $36.30 on the year if it is averaged out. They also will get to spend 78 extra days off from the schedule.
