**Now hiring a Maintenance Mechanic in Mechanicsburg, PA** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled maintenance technician to work on high-speed printing press machines. This role involves performing both preventative and reactive maintenance on plant equipment and machinery. You will work with AC/DC controls, 3-phase motors, conveyors, belts, bearings, drive controls, photo and proximity sensing devices, and encoders. Proficiency in reading schematics for troubleshooting both electrically and mechanically is required. Experience with Siemens PLCs for interfacing, checking inputs and outputs, and diagnosing issues is a plus. **Pay Rate: $25-$32/hour** **Shift: 1st shift Sun-Tues, every other Wednesday** **Responsibilities** + Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on high-speed printing press machines. + Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems. + Utilize AC/DC controls, 3-phase motors, and conveyors in maintenance operations. + Operate photo and proximity sensing devices and encoders. + Use schematics for electrical and mechanical troubleshooting. + Diagnose electrical issues using a multi-meter. + Interface with Siemens PLCs and troubleshoot inputs and outputs. **Essential Skills** + Electrical troubleshooting and repair. + Mechanical troubleshooting and repair. + Preventative maintenance expertise. + Knowledge of PLCs for input/output troubleshooting (no programming required). + Ability to use a multi-meter for electrical diagnosis. **Why Work Here?** Employees benefit from a pay-for-skills program with evaluations every six months that offer opportunities for raises.
