Maintenance Mechanic – Advanced Electro-Mechanical Systems - 2nd shift

We’re seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with a strong background in electro-mechanical systems to support our high-performance production environment. **Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Specialist;** **2nd shift 3p-11:30p, Mon-Fri** **(training is on 1st shift 7a-3:30p for approx. 3 months)** - _Candidates are encouraged to monitor their email regularly for updates regarding their application status. Please ensure our messages are not missed by checking your spam or junk folders as well_ **Core Responsibilities** **-** + **Preventive & Predictive Maintenance** + Execute scheduled maintenance and calibration on complex electro-mechanical equipment using work orders and maintenance plans. + Maintain accurate records of repairs, calibrations, and system performance. + **Troubleshooting & Repair** + Diagnose and resolve issues in mechanical, electrical, and control systems. + Test and validate equipment functionality to ensure optimal performance and uptime. + Lead root cause analysis for equipment failures and implement long-term corrective actions. + **Technical Expertise** + Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to guide repairs and identify spare parts. + Install and replace electronic components using soldering tools and precision hand equipment. + Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal codes. + **Facilities & Emergency Response** + Respond promptly to urgent repair needs to minimize downtime. + Perform general building and grounds maintenance, including seasonal tasks like snow removal and de-icing. + **S** **afety & Compliance** + Adhere to all safety protocols including LOTO, arc flash prevention, and working-at-height procedures. + Support environmental initiatives aligned with ISO 14001 standards and energy conservation goals. + **Collaboration & Continuous Improvement** + Communicate effectively across shifts to maintain safety, quality, and operational continuity. + Mentor team members and stay current on emerging technologies, tools, and best practices. Qualifications: + Associate Degree in Engineering discipline, preferably Electrical or Electronic, or equivalent in education and work experience. + Successful completion of a technical assessment addressing job-critical maintenance knowledge. + Proficiency in basic electrical systems, including starts, fused, contacts and relays. + Experience with electrical and electrical control system installations and troubleshooting. + Ability to interpret and apply information from product manuals and electrical schematics. + Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical breakdowns. + Proficiency in reading mechanical drawings, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems. + Ability to appropriately read, write and speak English. + Multi-tasking and prioritization skills in a fast-paced production environment. + Experience with bench and automated test equipment for electrical/electronic system evaluation. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the pay rate for this position which is $35 to $37 plus 2 nd shift differential of $1/hr. This hourly pay rate offered can vary depending on location, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. In addition to the hourly base pay rate, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount can be up to 10% of hourly rate based on company and individual performance measures. The total annual target cash range (Hourly Pay Rate plus Bonus, annualized (40 hrs/week * 52wks)) for this position, is $82,300 to $86,900.00.
