Engineering & Maintenance Superintendent – Casting
Location: Lafayette, IN | Full-Time | $130K–$140K Base Salary

We’re hiring an Engineering & Maintenance Superintendent to lead all reliability, engineering, and maintenance efforts across the Ingot and Lithium Cast Houses for a global metals manufacturer. This role blends technical depth, operational leadership, and strategic impact—perfect for someone who thrives in high-output, heavy industrial settings.
Full ownership of engineering and maintenance across two cast house operations
Guide a team of salaried engineers and maintenance leaders
Drive reliability-centered maintenance strategy across equipment and systems
Lead root cause investigations, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives
Oversee contractor management and capital repair projects
Coordinate daily repairs and long-term planning with off-shifts, production, and planners
Act as the final decision-maker on all maintenance activity across shifts
Collaborate with engineers to reduce downtime, increase system uptime, and launch new projects
What You BringBachelor’s in Engineering from an accredited institution
5+ years in industrial or heavy equipment maintenance leadership
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate across shifts
Legally authorized to work in the U.S. (required due to export control regulations)
Bonus Points ForCasting or combustion experience in industrial environments
Familiarity with Oracle EAM or other CMMS platforms
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
