Position Title: Maintenance Manager
Reporting Line: Operations Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance function across a complex industrial facility comprising production assets, storage infrastructure, well-sites, pipelines, and power generation equipment. This senior role is responsible for ensuring full compliance with applicable legislation and regulatory standards, while driving performance, reliability, and safety across all operational areas.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of all maintenance activities—routine, non-routine, and reactive—to minimize downtime and ensure operational continuity
- Develop and manage annual maintenance budgets, ensuring cost-effective delivery of planned activities
- Lead and develop the maintenance team, setting performance standards and producing monthly reports on activity and compliance
- Manage site inventory and spares strategy, ensuring critical components are available and effectively controlled
- Maintain accurate records of equipment history, certifications, and inspections in line with statutory and regulatory requirements
- Ensure all maintenance schedules and statutory inspections are delivered according to plan
- Continuously assess and coordinate requirements to maintain plant integrity and maximize reliability across all assets.

Candidate Profile

- Degree-qualified in Engineering (Electrical preferred); Chartered status or working towards it is desirable
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in a senior maintenance leadership role within industrial, energy, or process environments
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical infrastructure, instrumentation, and control systems
- Proven ability to identify improvement opportunities and lead strategic development initiatives
- Familiarity with UK and/or European operational and safety standards in energy or heavy industry
