STS Technical Services is hiring a Maintenance Manager in Savannah, Georgia.

Position Summary

The Maintenance Manager will plan, direct, and coordinate the activities of the maintenance team to deliver the highest levels of customer service in a cost-effective manner. This position requires hands-on leadership, managing both facility operations and employees while also performing the duties of a Class A Mechanic.

Candidates must have a strong knowledge of diesel and gasoline engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and pneumatic systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Professionally, efficiently, and cost effectively manage and maintain the operational readiness of the terminal fleet Enforce and maintain safety standards, policies, practices, and procedures to ensure compliance with all laws and regulations Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of records, files, and required documents Monitor the parts room to ensure adequate supply, inventory control, and replenishment of parts as needed Work extended hours when deadlines must be met Maintain a clean and safe work environment Perform other duties as assigned Computer Knowledge

Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Cummins, Solomon, and Internet/Outlook

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations Current and valid driver’s license TWIC Card Forklift operator certification Customer Relations Skills

This position requires regular customer interaction. Strong tact, professionalism, and communication skills are essential to success. A minimum of five years of supervisory experience is required.
