DescriptionThe Maintenance Manager, under the supervision of the ADOE is responsible for supporting, supervising, scheduling and motivating the hotel maintenance team while making sure the overall corrective and preventive maintenance is completed.
Responsible, under the supervision of the ADOE, to coordinate and manage the day to day repair and maintenance of the building engineering asset and including Fire, Life and Safety systems equipment.
The Maintenance Manager oversees the engineering operation of the hotel and reports to the ADOE on a day to day basis. S/he supervises engineering team members under his responsibility for high level of performance, quality of work and attendance.\n
S/he prepares periodic (weekly, monthly, etc.) visits, inspections in accordance with the preventive maintenance plan, workload or priorities for approval by the Assistant Director of Engineering, as well as strictly monitors and follow-ups on Fire, Life and Security Brand Standards.

Key Responsibilities\n
Maintain Hotel Assets: This role is crucial for keeping the entire hotel in top shape. You'll ensure all building structures and equipment are well-maintained and in excellent working order. This includes diligently following preventative maintenance schedules and conducting daily patrols of all public areas to ensure lighting and facilities are always presentable.

Fire-Life-Safety Management: Safety is paramount. You will be responsible for maintaining all fire-life-safety equipment in first-class condition. A key part of your role is to ensure the fire-life-safety first response team is fully trained and has a complete understanding of all procedures, equipment, and alarm systems.

Supplier Relations & Emergency Response: Building strong relationships is essential. You'll establish good working relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable 24-hour emergency service is always available. You'll also be part of the on-call rotation to coordinate tradespersons for after-hours needs.

Energy Conservation: You'll play a vital role in managing the hotel's resources efficiently. Under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Engineering (ADOE), you'll develop and maintain an energy conservation program designed to help the hotel meet its annual budget targets. This includes compiling and submitting monthly consumption reports for heat, light, and power (electricity, gas, steam, and water).

Team Leadership & Development: As a supervisor, you'll oversee maintenance operations, ensuring compliance with all engineering policies, procedures, and standards while prioritizing guest satisfaction. You'll conduct regular inspections of all building areas, implementing corrective and preventive maintenance, particularly for guestrooms and corridors. A significant part of your role involves providing ongoing training to your engineering team members and fostering strong, positive inter-departmental communication.

Project & Administrative Support: You'll be involved in various operational tasks, including preparing purchase requisitions for necessary materials and equipment. You'll also assist with the planning and setup for hotel special functions and festive seasons, organizing the required actions from the engineering side. Beyond that, you'll handle essential administrative duties such such as leading and attending meetings, and writing reports and memos.

You'll be expected to conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times, reflecting the quality of Kempinski Hotels, and encouraging your team to do the same. This also means maintaining a clean, neat, and organized workshop area.

Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseCertified technical diploma in mechanical (HVAC) or electrical                                                                         \nEXPERIENCE:                               
Minimum 3 to 5 years in building or plant maintenance, in a similar position or promoted internally                                                            LANGUAGE:                         Local language – excellent oral and written skills (as applicable)   English – excellent oral and written skills   Additional language – beneficial
