Maintenance Manager Wanted in Stratford, ON!Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee a team of six skilled trades workers and engineers in Stratford, ON! This role requires a hands-on approach to maintain and enhance our machinery, ensure smooth operational workflows, and uphold mechanical engineering best practices.

ResponsibilitiesOversee the skilled trades team and all engineering operations in the mixing facility.Supervise a total of six team members, including four tradespeople, one laborer, and one MRO.Assign work and direct day-to-day processes and operational workflows.Maintain mixing machines and ensure smooth workflow.Ensure best practices in mechanical engineering work are followed.Interview and hire engineers to join the team.Collaborate with Sales, R&D Engineering, and Business Units to evaluate, develop, and implement new technology.Participate in Lean Enterprise activities.Oversee the setup of machines and equipment.Provide production support as needed.Perform electrical controls maintenance.Work as part of a cross-functional team to review internal and external quality performance.RequirementsPossess a Professional Engineering (P.Eng) designation in mechanical engineering or a Trades Ticket (433A or 442A).3+ years of experience as a Maintenance Supervisor/Manager or in other related leadership roles.Proficiency in preventive maintenance, pneumatics, mixing, guarding, safety controls, and project management.Experience in industrial production equipment installation.Why Work Here?
