Airswift is looking for a CNC Machinist to join a key oil and gas client, reporting directly to the Machine Cell Supervisor. This is a 6-month contract with high possibility of extension in Spruce Grove, AB.
 
In this role, you’ll take ownership of process development, tooling selection, and CNC programming, ensuring our machining operations run efficiently and accurately. You'll collaborate cross?functionally to solve technical challenges and continuously enhance machining processes.
 
What You’ll Do:

Develop and optimize CNC programs with a focus on accuracy and efficiency Select tooling and support machining process improvements Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve technical issues Create and maintain clear machining documentation  
Must-haves: 2+ years of CNC programming experience, including: Mazak & HAAS programming and control experience CAM software proficiency (Fusion 360, Edgecam, Creo)  
Nice-to-haves: Industrial manufacturing experience with complex programming Familiarity with multi?axis CNC machines (preferred) Ability to read and interpret engineered drawings, GD&T Strong knowledge of cutting tools, inserts, and fixturing best practices High attention to detail and ability to work independently Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
