JOB SUMMARY:
The Maintenance Leader role is to direct and coordinate activities for assigned section(s) of the Maintenance Departments scope of responsibilities. To continually build a maintenance knowledge base that enables effective leadership and forward thinking.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform Maintenance processes such as procurement and Invoicing, Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and contractor management.Oversee maintenance activities within area of responsibility. Establish priorities and leverages Maintenance resources to completion of tasks.Responsible for meeting assigned schedule, cost and quality goals.Responsible for company and departmental safety or housekeeping audits, checking on workmanship, efficiencies, safe working conditions and methods and compliance with work orders.Attend, participate and lead department meetings for items such as general communications, resolving departmental problems (scheduling, quality, etc.) and planning for work execution.Supervise and assign employees and/or contractors for service work in line with schedules and factory order requirements.Administer, enforce and counsel employees as to the company personnel and employee relations policies, departmental policies procedures and safety practices.Determine the need for overtime.Schedule manpower changes and other operational changes with Maintenance leadership. Allocate approved overtime to employees assuring equal distribution. Ensure there is an adequate supply of tools, equipment and materials for efficient department operation.Recommend, coordinate and execute cost saving measures for assigned area of responsibility. (experienced) Communicate with operation teams on maintenance related issues, providing sufficient feedback as to status of and requirements needed to address any on-going issues.JOB SUMMARY:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or in lieu of degree a minimum of 5 years manufacturing, maintenance, and/or relative supervisory experience is required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Proficient in written and verbal communication
• Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks on a day to day basis.
• Ability to lead and develop teams of individuals
• Experience with maintenance systems and utilities such as Fire, Security, Steam, Electrical, Natural gas and Water.
• Experience with systems related to repairing production equipment such as: mechanical, hydraulic and electronic issues.
• Experience in facility related activities such as: Heating/AC, Pipefitting, Electrical, Refrigeration and mechanical systems.
