**100128BR** **Job Title:** Maintenance Lead - Forsyth, MO **Department/Function:** Operations: Manufacturing, Production, Maintenance, Utilities **Job Description:** **Maintenance Lead - Forsyth, MO** **SUMMARY:** Perform routine equipment maintenance tasks and assist other maintenance personnel with maintenance of equipment as necessary. Perform duties where necessary to provide for maintenance of buildings and grounds. Lead the Maintenance Department in the absence of the Maintenance Manager. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Serve as Lead for the department in addressing maintenance needs. + Monitor and assign maintenance tickets. + Responsible for complying and training others to comply with all Safety programs. + Responsible for overseeing and assisting the Maintenance Machine Technicians in the absence of the Maintenance Manager. + Visually inspect and set up production equipment and assist with line changes as needed in manufacturing operations. + Maintain filters in HVAC system throughout the company. + Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of vacuum system in production facility. + Listen for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discuss machine operation variations with other maintenance personnel to diagnose the problem or repair the machine. + Inspect buildings for repair and perform preventive maintenance and repairs on all equipment and structures. + Monitor spending of items, such as parts, fasteners, etc. + Ensure maintenance documentation is recorded properly in system. **Non-Essential Responsibilities:** + Assist other maintenance personnel with equipment maintenance as required. + Inspect safety equipment monthly. + Maintain grounds for cleanliness and appearance. + Aid in the assembly and relocation of furnishings throughout the company. + Perform other duties as assigned by management. **SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Supervises Maintenance Techs employees in accordance with company policies. **EQUIPMENT USED:** + Cutting torch or welding equipment, hand tools, pallet jack, floor and table top scales, telephone, copy machine, and computer. **EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:** + High school diploma or GED, two to four years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination. **LANGUAGE SKILLS:** + Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals and to write routine reports and correspondence. + Ability to speak effectively with vendors and group of employees. + Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. **MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:** + Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. **REASONING ABILITY:** + Ability to solve practical problems and deal with variable situations. + OTHER SKILLS & ABILITIES: + Must have good manual dexterity, attention to detail and the ability to follow directions. + Must have a Valid Driver’s License. **PHYSICAL DEMANDS:** + While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and talk or hear. + The employee frequently is required to walk and reach with hands and arms. + The employee is frequently required to sit and stoop, kneel and crouch. + Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and color vision. + Repetitive hand movements are required. + Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. + Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. and move at least 150 lbs. using a pallet jack. **WORK ENVIRONMENT:** + The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately noisy. + Other duties may be assigned by management.
