**Job Title: Maintenance Helper** **Job Description** We are seeking a hands-on, adaptable individual to support a variety of tasks throughout the foundry. This is a floating position, meaning you'll rotate through different areas and responsibilities based on daily needs. **Responsibilities** + Assist with machine maintenance and repair (training provided). + Operate power tools and other industrial equipment. + Perform general labor tasks in a rugged, industrial environment. + Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs regularly. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency with hand and power tools. + Attention to detail. + Ability to follow directions. + Mechanical aptitude. + Troubleshooting skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Interest in learning how machines work. + Forklift operation experience. + Basic maintenance and repair skills. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy the opportunity for a raise after 30 days upon demonstrating your abilities. The schedule follows a Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM format, with a consistent 4x10s workweek. During the initial training period, Thursdays will end earlier—around 2:30 PM—resulting in approximately 33 hours per week for the first few weeks. Once training is complete, employees have the flexibility to start earlier or stay later as needed to reach a full 40-hour workweek. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Seattle, Washington. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $21.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
