Maintenance Group Leader

Job Description

What You Will Do?

As the Maintenance Group Leader, you will be responsible for a small to medium group of maintenance employees. You will manage the maintenance and repair of plant equipment and facilities aligned with standard GM maintenance systems in addition to the following responsibilities

Responsibilities:

You will conduct appropriate checks and tests, and communicate evaluation of results.Recommends solutions to problemsResponsible for preventative maintenance and diagnosis of equipment malfunctionsMeets schedule and quality requirementsComplies with the terms of local and national labor agreementsImplements divisional and corporate policies and safety and good housekeeping practicesMaintain frequent contact and collaboration with others outside of the work groupResponsible for the effective use of personnel, material and equipmentEstablishes a course of action to accomplish completion of the job and/or project. Has knowledge and ability to implement GMS principles

Work Appropriately

On Site: This position requires to work on site on a full-time basis.

Availability to work rotating shifts on a 4x3 schedule

Qualifications:

Education:  Mechatronics, Electrical Mechanics, Electronics, and Robotics Engineering.

Intermediate English

Mechanical, Electrical, and Electronic systems; PLC or CNC programming; Robotics (Fanuc robots).
