SIMEA Sibiu carries out production activities of electronic equipment and systems, of low to medium complexity and with an increased manual processing part. The company is involved in the generation of innovative solutions in the field of design and manufacturing of electronic products, support services within its strong competencies: product development (PLM), logistics and production.

To grow our maintenance team, we are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer to oversee and improve our maintenance processes, ensuring optimal performance of machinery, equipment, and facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to minimizing downtime and maximizing efficiency.

Your Mission with Us:

Perform routine and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and control systems.Diagnose equipment malfunctions and implement corrective actions.Develop and maintain maintenance schedules and records.Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability.Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with suppliers.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and root cause analysis.Train and support maintenance technicians and junior staff.

Your Profile for “Making the Future Possible”:

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering (or equivalent experience).Proven experience in a maintenance engineering role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, PLCs, pneumatics, and electrical systems.Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong communication and organizational skills.
