Position overview:

 

Our future Maintenance Engineer will ensures machinery, equipment, and facilities operate smoothly and efficiently by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing issues, and overseeing all maintenance activities. Key responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults, executing repairs, maintaining detailed maintenance records, and implementing strategies to improve equipment reliability and safety in industries like manufacturing, energy, and healthcare. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Equipment Maintenance: Performing routine, scheduled, and preventative maintenance on various equipment and systems, such as machinery, electrical, and plumbing systems.  Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnosing and resolving problems, responding to equipment breakdowns, and repairing or replacing worn parts to minimize downtime.  Maintenance Planning: Developing and implementing maintenance strategies, plans, and protocols to ensure equipment runs at peak efficiency and reliability.  Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate logs and records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.  Safety Compliance: Adhering to strict health and safety procedures during maintenance activities.  Coordination: Working with maintenance technicians, contractors, and other engineers to ensure smooth operations. 

 

Key skills and Qualifications:

 

Technical university degree A minimum of 10 years of experience in maintenance in automotive industry is appreciated Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and computer engineering principles. Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose complex issues and develop effective solutions. Attention to Detail: Essential for accurate inspections, repairs, and record-keeping. Communication Skills: To coordinate with team members and document work. Safety Awareness: A commitment to following safety protocol Proficiency in both English & French languages, spoken and written
