Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – Dudley

Salary & Shifts:£35,000 per annum (includes shift allowance)Rotating shifts: 6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm - Plenty of overtime available
Join a leading steel processing company at the heart of the Black Country, supporting production through proactive and reactive mechanical maintenance.

Role Overview:Work as part of a 2-person team (1 Electrician, 1 Mechanical Engineer)Carry out preventative maintenance and respond to breakdownsComplete shift reports and maintain safety standardsMaintain hydraulic and pneumatic systemsRead engineering drawingsGeneral welding, fabrication, and bench fittingOxygen/acetylene burningOperate forklifts, cherry pickers, and overhead cranesRequirements:Completed apprenticeship or time-served in mechanical maintenanceNVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Mechanical MaintenanceExperience in a heavy industrial environment
