Job Title: Maintenance EngineerJob Description We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Engineer responsible for resolving maintenance issues on machining and assembly equipment. The role involves troubleshooting CNC machining, conveyance, robot, and assembly machines while training maintenance team members in machine function, assessment, and repair methods. This is a hands-on position requiring ownership of processes and project planning. Responsibilities + Solve maintenance issues on machining and assembly equipment. + Troubleshoot CNC machining, conveyance, robot, and assembly machines. + Train maintenance team members in machine function, assessment, and repair methods. + Develop documentation for machine assessments. + Engage in project and administrative scheduling and planning. + Understand new technology from a maintenance perspective. Essential Skills + Experience with automated CNC Machines, PLCs, and Manual Machines and Tooling. + Machine assessment experience for various pieces of equipment. + Preventative and corrective maintenance. + Project planning and documentation skills. + Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical. + Minimum of 5 years of experience in the automotive industry. + Minimum of 3 years in a machining environment with drills, taps, inserts, fixtures, servo motors, tools, chips, and coolant pressure. + Strong communication and training abilities. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Database management. + SharePoint web development. Work Environment The position requires working from 6am to 2:45pm, with the possibility of overtime, averaging about 50 hours per week. The facility is located near Huntsville, Alabama, and specializes in manufacturing engines for cars and trucks. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
