Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
Job Description

Responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of facilities, including all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and utility systems installed in/on the property. This includes HVAC systems, electrical equipment, building controls, and life safety equipment.

ResponsibilitiesEnsure the safe operation and maintenance of all facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and utility systems.Perform repairs and maintenance on equipment for base building HVAC, drywall, and facility support.Demonstrate the use of hand and power tools, and perform minor plumbing/pipefitting, electrical work, and carpentry.Read blueprints and apply mathematical skills to facility equipment operations.Operate a company vehicle safely and maintain a clean driving record.Essential Skills3 years of mechanical aptitude experience from previous jobs or vocational schooling.3-5 years of experience with a refrigerant recovery license.HVAC certification is required.Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record.Additional Skills & QualificationsEPA certification is a plus.Experience in Industrial and Commercial HVAC systems.Ability to work with electrical wiring, conduit installation, and troubleshooting.Experience with boilers and air conditioning systems.608 certification is required.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment is located at a Quest Diagnostics facility in San Juan Hills, CA. The role involves working with various facility systems and requires the ability to safely operate a company vehicle.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Juan Capistrano, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
