Find your purpose as a Maintenance Engineer at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar!  As the Maintenance Engineer you will perform duties related to preventative maintenance and repair of equipment, machinery, and physical structure of the facility.

Schedule:

Full-time 80 hours every 2 weeks Wednesday-Fri 7a-3:30p; Sat-Sun 5:30a-2:00p Rotating on-call every 8 weeks

Pay & Benefits:

Starting Pay begins at $23.86 per hour and increases with experience Pay range: $23.86 - $33.46 per hour Part time benefits: medical, dental, PTO, retirement, employee discounts and more!  This is a Union position, and you will be required to join the AFSCME 3296 Union within 30 days from start.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent required Vo-Tech course in Building Maintenance or 1 year of equivalent experience in lieu of Vo-Tech course required. 2C Boiler License within 1 year of hire required. 2 years plant operation & building maintenance preferred. Must be knowledgeable on the safe operation of boilers and related equipment.  Should have good understanding of how motors, pumps, heating and cooling systems, plumbing systems and related equipment and controls operate. A valid driver's license in good standing Required

Core Functions:

Daily Rounds; Perform equipment checks as per rounds instructions and schedule. Take corrective action when equipment is not operating correctly or in normal operating range. Repair requests (work orders). Preventive Maintenance Inventory Control Plant Operation; Operate, maintain, and repair boilers as assigned. Operate, maintain and repair boiler related equipment. Perform routine water tests and add appropriate treatment. Continuous Quality Improvement Safety; Maintain and promote a safe environment for all patients, visitors and staff. Service Excellence; Demonstrates an ongoing commitment to the Service Excellence philosophy. Special Projects and other related duties as assigned.
