To effectively manage and minimise the risk associated with depot operations by ensuring:compliance with all HSE Policies, rules, guidelines and legal requirements within area of responsibility;promotion of safe working environment and positively contributing to the company HSE KPI's and risk reduction strategies;that HSE competency requirements are enforced within area of responsibility.To monitor, manage and assist with One Maestro, Maestro log and Integrity management within your area of responsibility.KEY RESULTS
Maintenance
Establish and continuously evaluate preventive maintenance system (on Sharepoint, CMMS and SAP) and feedback on non-compliances.Complete and issue a detailed monthly report on Maintenance Performance through KPI'sAction depot maintenance as per legislative and group requirements (frequency)Investigate breakdowns with identifying root causes and correct actionsTo monitor and manage One Maestro, Maestro log and Integrity management within your area of responsibility. Manage maintenance equipment sparesIntegrity Management
Prepare and execute Safety Critical barrier inspections, loop tests and maintenanceReport and record Safety Critical Barrier non-conformances on CMMSEnsure Safety Critical matrix is updated accordingly and is currentComplete monthly Integrity KPI reportingCo-sign work permits for contractorsInitiate MoC for any SCB infrastructure changesParticipate in the Integrity Monitoring meetingsSupport site manager with action plan management of nonconformances, safety tours, audit result and depot surveysSupport site manager with Downgraded modes or Major integrity threats preparations, reporting and actionsPeople Management:
To provide training to new and existing staff members ensuring competence of staff or safety critical and environmental protection activities. Candidate Profile A professional qualification/certification in Engineering (mechanical or electrical) or EquivalentA minimum of 4 - 5 years working experience in the Operations, in the downstream of Petrochemical or LPG industryKnowledge of the LPG equipment manufacturing industry, e.g.: cylinders, valves, tanks, pumps etc. year advantage.A good knowledge of all relevant legislation that impacts on LPG / petrochemical installations and equipment, e.g. OHS-Act; and all relevant SANS Regulations.Other key requirements:
A high level of verbal and non-verbal communication skills.Strong planning and organising skills.Strong project evaluation and management skills.Computer Proficiency in MS Office Suite, SAP, etc.Results Orientated.AssertivenessStrategic and holistic thinking.Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.Driver's LicenseAbility to travel between depots in different regions Additional InformationThe main areas of responsibility include the following:
Ensuring compliance with the OHS-Act as imposed under section 16(2) of the OHS-Act, No 85 of 1993 at all Company depotsBeing a change agent and strategist for improving the performance of the Company by assisting in Continuous Improvement of Maintenance (preventive and corrective), Quality Assurance, Risk Management and Loss Reduction.Ensuring that Maintenance Management Systems (e.g. SAP Maintenance, Sharepoint and CMMS) are in place and to secure/ maintain appropriate external certifications, Providing advice and guidance on Technical and Operational Safety matters, to ensure that the Company complies with statutory requirements and Group Policy and takes a preventative approach to Maintenance and HSEQ in all parts of the company.Technical Integrity management on site
