Maintenance Electrician
**Job Title: Maintenance Electrician - 1st Shift** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Electrician for a 1st shift position. The role involves reading and interpreting schematics and symbols, running and bending conduit, and installing new machines. You will regularly diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair 480v 3-phase systems and control circuits. Additionally, you will read ladder logic to troubleshoot RSLogix/PLCs, check inputs and outputs, and make minor edits. The machinery you'll work with includes hoists, table saws, chop saws, CNC equipment, lamination presses, and glue systems. A positive attitude, teamwork, self-motivation, and the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision are essential. **Responsibilities** + Read and interpret schematics and symbols. + Run and bend conduit for new machine installations. + Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair 480v 3-phase systems and control circuits. + Read ladder logic to troubleshoot RSLogix/PLCs and make minor edits. + Check inputs and outputs, change contactors, sensors, relays, motor starters, and controllers. + Work with a variety of machinery including hoists, saws, CNC equipment, and presses. **Essential Skills** + 7+ years of industrial mechanical troubleshooting with hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, and pumps. + 5+ years of heavy industrial electrical troubleshooting experience with 480v 3-phase systems. + 5+ years of experience in installing new machines and circuits. + Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and symbols. + Experience in troubleshooting and repairing motor starters, motor controllers, and VFDs. + Ability to read and interpret ladder logic, and troubleshoot PLCs with minor editing capabilities. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience reading and interpreting European schematics. + Experience troubleshooting CNC machinery. + Experience with CMMS systems. **Why Work Here?** Our company offers a comprehensive benefits package, including two medical insurance plan options, dental and vision insurance, disability and life insurance, and a 401k plan with a discretionary annual match.
