Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a High School Diploma or GED and have the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, logic, and wiring diagrams. The role requires a strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (N.E.C.), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (O.S.H.A.) guidelines, and proficiency with electrical/electronic test equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes. Additionally, the candidate should be knowledgeable about programmable controllers and have excellent troubleshooting skills for mechanical equipment commonly found in distribution centers.
ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot, repair, and test mechanical equipment such as conveyors, diverters, and packaging equipment.Perform plumbing operations and utilize pipe fitting tools proficiently.Ensure adherence to existing laws and operational requirements set by governing agencies.Conduct electrical welding and apply basic knowledge of mechanical equipment to troubleshoot systems controlled by electrical devices.Make correct and expedient repairs under pressure.Lift and move objects weighing up to 80 pounds frequently.Work flexible hours based on business needs.Successfully complete a powered vehicle training program and maintain certification every two years.Essential SkillsProficiency in PLC troubleshooting, including reading ladder logic and checking inputs/outputs.Experience with control cabinets.2-year degree with 2 years of on-the-job experience or 4+ years of on-the-job experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in conveyor maintenance, ladder logic, and high voltage systems.Ability to read schematics and perform welding.Familiarity with Siemens and Allen-Bradley PLCs.Understanding of pneumatics and hydraulics.Why Work Here?

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Zanesville, Ohio.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $34.00 - $34.00/hr.
